Bronze Plaque 'Swimmer' signed by Hubert Yencesse. French Sculptor Hubert Yencesse was born in Paris in 1900 where he also died in 1987. His first exhibition was in 1921 at the Salon d' Automne. The first of numerous prizes and accolades, The Blumenthal Prize, was awarded to him in 1934. He is most known for his sculpture 'Swimmer' for which he secured a 3rd place (Bronze Medal) in the Art Olympics in 1948.
